thread again it raised a question about posting sales ads for other people since I have since seen some argument about that elsewhere - is it okay to post classifieds for other people or link it to an ad placed somewhere else? The guidelines say "The purpose of this forum is to support private-party member-to-member transactions. " so that implies one thing, but I wondering if the 'member to member' part is literal or if NAM is actually good with referred sales or leads to ads or auctions placed elsewhere (and if so perhaps a mention in the guidelines would be good).

Also, fwiw, this marketplace ad didn't have the asking price in the initial post, it just had it in the linked Autotrader ad - perhaps it would be helpful to stipulate that the asking price be in the subject line to make things really clear? Better yet, maybe a format could be indicated with the year first, model, price and location in the subject? Just a suggestion to help clear up the marketplace ads so people don't nec have to jump in to ask questions or click to a link off the site.
