cool site - like design and functionality a lot. Dig this guy:

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ule=NS-NewUser
didn't take real name on initial registration (not available - would be more convenient if you were to add here)
BUG - didn't take web site on initial registration
(it did take when I updated profile info)

may want to move "password will be sent..." line up to top of reg page

overall, a very well done site. Will peruse more later...

Thanks,
B

Bob,
Thanks for the feedback. I found a couple of coding errors in the registration page and have patched them in my test environment (will be moved to production soon). The registration now takes the user's name in addition to remembering the URL you enter. I've also moved the "will be sent by email" message to the top. Thanks again for the feedback.

Message boards show newest messages on top. Is there a way to rearrange the order? It's a little strange to have to read from bottom to top.

Thanks for the positive feedback! Believe it or not we do have day jobs but we do spend a lot of time with the site during the day (don't tell our bosses ). Please continue to leave us feedback here or via email (feedback@northamericanmotoring.com) whenever you see something missing, something we did well, or something we could be doing better. Thanks again!

Sfiveten,

In the detailing section: The Zaino topic is great. Not all of us Mini Maniacs know about this stuff and it really helps to get the care of your "baby" started off on the right foot. This should be a must read for all owners.

Thanks for the info!

TMGRobyn,
Thanks for the feedback.
I think it's a must too. As perfect as the MINI is.... it needs a perfect shine to go with it. If not a perfect shine (motoring can be messy) at least good protection from the elements.
In the near future I'll try to get some more detailed cleaning tips together.
Again thanks for the positive feedback.
