Sierra Nevada Minis has been invited to go on a Mini run with several other Mini clubs to the Shasta/Redding area June 23 thru 25th. Redwood Empire Mini will be taking the lead on this event. I will be going and there should be a very good turnout of 20 or more Minis. If you are interested in joining me, i was told they need to know ASAP so a block of rooms can be held in the groups name. This would be a great way to see how much FUN we have traveling together Please contact me by Private e-mail or let Lisa know and she can pass it on to me..

 

Actually we are hoping for 30-50.... but maybe I am overly optimistic....

All the motel arrangments have been made and set up for anyone joining in. We will be staying at the Oxford Suites in Redding on Friday and Sunday Nights. reservations: 1-800-762-0133 to get group rate tell them you are with the Redwood Mini Coopers. For Saturday Night we will be staying at the Best Western Tree House Motor Lodge in Mt. Shasta 800-545-7164 and tell them the same for group discount.

You can check the entire run and acvitities out on the REME website. There is a questionaire on the site to help us plan the other activities. We have a dinner train planned out of McCloud on Saturday. There is a dinner cruise on Lake Shasta for Friday night. Lots of stuff to do and see. The run will include a stop in Weaverville, Trinity Center for lunch, then up Scott Mountain, Callahan, Gazelle, back through Weed to Mt. Shasta. Then a trip up Mt. Shasta to Bunny Flats, a stop in McCloud, Burney Falls, and Mt. Lassen Volcanic Park.

Although you can decide to join us on this run up to the very last minute, if you plan to stay with the group in the same hotels or join us on the Shasta Dinner Train Saturday night, you should sign up very soon.

I will be accepting reservations for the Dinner Train until mid-April. I believe that the dining car we will be on will hold up to 50-54 people.... we have 34 signed up for the dinner train now, so there are only a limited number of available seats left.

This June run will be a great MINI activity that will not want to miss.
