yeah maybe a bit high for those miles. Surprised with all the detail they list it at 168hp, more like 210. There are better deals to be found here if you’re patient, either lower price or lower miles.

OK cool. Thanks for the insight! It's a balance of wanting to find an R53 excellent condition, but also not missing out on something already available.

Agreed. And a MINI with 161K miles that advertises it still has "original clutch" screams that you better immediately budget for replacing the clutch.

Be patient and buy the nicest car you can afford. Complete maintenance records are worth a lot too.
Good luck in your search.

Need some help please if you can.

Looks like admin "Timed out" this thread since they closed this "OLD" forum down a while ago...... So I started a new one in the "NEW" marketplace... too bad as this was probably the most popular thread on the forums lately....

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ml#post4590474

Looking to help a friend who may chime in here.

The car she wants.... is what most of you Don't want.... a NON-JCW, Convertible MCS with an automatic transmission.

Looking for an AUTOMATIC-trans MCS convertible .... R52 2006/07/08 with low miles (sub 70k) and ZERO mods.... Especially not exhaust.
No Blue cars. Fully loaded preferred though manual climate control is OK... but not looking to pay for "JCW bits" ....
NO Base model "Justa"
Not considering 2002-2005 cars.

Or.. as an option to that car...

An AUTOMATIC-trans MCS convertible....R57 2013/14/15 MCS Convertible (N18 only) .. with low miles (sub 70k) and ZERO mods.... Especially not exhaust.
No Blue cars. Fully loaded preferred though manual climate control is OK ... but not looking to pay for "JCW bits" or any thing out of the ordinary on the cars... No unobtanium required.
NO Base model "Justa"
Not considering 2009-2012 cars.

16" wheels are a plus !!

West coast Cali, AZ, OR, WA, NV locations.
She's located in N. Cal... and can use the help to get back into a car for the summer...

She's only considering cars very-good/excellent condition mechanically/cosmetically that will not need a thing to be on the road for LOTS of miles.... She garage keeps and maintains her cars very well !!

Any help you can lend will be very much appreciated.
