These cars have such a quick turn around. Wonder what it will bring here.

Saw that the ebay listing included a video and got sorta excited to see it ripping,
big bummer with the low effort video...

And like HOLY COW BATMAN!,
current seller needs to change his name because street cred is highly compromised, I mean I know the internet is rampant with slander and crazy opinions etc, but this guy appears to have accumulated much bad karma that hurts his rep if any potential buyer does their due diligence on a brief online search.

I’m posting this up as being the opposite of a good deal.
I love how the car is described as untouched and impeccable . . but all 4 wheels have damage to them, and the seller, who has listed it for sale for almost $28k can’t be bothered spending the $400 needed to have them repaired. Lazy lazy lazy.
Don’t know if this is real or not; WC50 in Chicago.

Pretty sure that low mileage R52 was on FB marketplace (in New Hampshire) for 15K earlier this year. I couldnt pull the trigger on
having a fourth R52 JCW
having a fourth R52 JCW

Yes... it is nice... yes the wheels are damaged and should be repaired... Is it worth $26,000 with the wheels repaired... Not in my book...At that price... those wheels should be shod with brand new rubber on brand new mini factory wheels... not some sand/polish and paint (or worse, pow-coat)... R98's look best with the factory BBS/Ronal lathe-turned finish on the lip... rare to find a service that will do that.
Yes, 23k-miles is low... but not exceedingly low..that car is still going to need the ALL of the maintenance that any 15 year MINI will need (seals, fluids, SC service, coolant service, coolant tank etc etc)... with tax and delivery... that one is a bit pricey IMO.... but then again... most of the low mile MINI's are (reason for them really not being a 'good value' IMO).
Why would "female adult driven" have any bearing on the sale... like one sex is easier on a car than another?? ..especially a little sports car like this one.
Sure... adult owned is better than 'teen owned'
3 owners... how can they be confident that it has been only used in warm fair weather with all 3 owners... maybe they were all in the same family??
It does not have "all the options"... wheres the JCW suspension.... Aero, driving lights, R95's ?? (no mandatory JCW suspension sticker on the tower??)
Nice for an east coast car tho... Someone, with some bux to spend, might find it attractive.... it's still a cheap little performance convertible.
It is at the top of the price list for an R52 with low miles... invest in some better pix... show the undercarriage on a lift... Owner/seller should get a PPI report to post from a MINI specialist.

Thinking perhaps crustiness of N14 intake valves match that of exposed chassis/bodywork metal by now, since no mention of that service work. Curious though, if sellers on cars such as this (whom aren't retailers) check what's discussed after posting limited ad details. Probably not, 'cus another example of ignorance vs apathy ("I don't know and I don't care")...

Absolutely love that part of Florida, did a few jobs in Stuart over the years where we stayed a couple of weeks each time, really gorgeous with a supercool laidback vibe.

I've always had a thing for the MC40 and would like to have one at some point, but it is endlessly annoying when browsing when the sellers think they have something like a 911T Flachbau or something...
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...1-turbo-s-x83/
...and ask astronomically overvalued prices.
Even worse when they claim it to be a JCW and it ain't even though many of them did get the full kits many just got the appearance stuff and people unfamiliar with MINI's just see the accessory trim bits with JCW and don't know no better.

2004 Mini Cooper S 40th anniversary commemorative John Cooper Works limited edition 432 of 1000. Super rare and was a $5000.00 factory option for the upgrade. The John Cooper works has the better suspension, tuned engine, super charger, custom factory exhaust and a lot of other editions vs. the standards S.
200 horsepower out of a 2500 lb car.
Due to the unexpected passing of my father in April. I am putting up his Mini Cooper S for sale as he instructed in the wording of the trust. A part of me would like to buy the car from the trust, however I feel confident that I would end up running from the police. This car is tight with amazing handling on the curves. It turns some crazy switch on in my head.
He called it his corvette killer, not sure if he actually raced any corvettes however this car is fast. I seriously doubt it would beat a new 100,000 dollar 495 HP corvette on the straight away though. Now on the twisty’s up to the top of the crest, whole other story. That’s were this car shines.
Six speed manual transmission with limited edition leather interior. This Cooper with its John Cooper works suspension handles the corners at speeds I’ve only dared take my FZ09 motorcycle at. The suspension, steering and handling is awesome. Yeah I know, had to try it out at least once or twice. 😁
I would say this car looks excellent from 20ft it does have some imperfections though. One of the Crome tips is missing on the exhaust, there is a door ding on the driver side and some of the headliner needs to be fixed. The checker pattern on the hood is vinyl and can be removed. Over all in my opinion I would rate the car good + condition appearance wise.
Car is mechanically sound. Starts, runs and drives excellent.
Clear and clean title now in my name ready to sign over to new owner.
Probably not the best car for your newly licensed teenager from the prospective of a parent. Awesome car to have from the teenagers point of view 😜
It is easy to want to step on the gas and zip in/out of traffic. Just feels like that’s what it was made to do. Oh wait it has the John Cooper works package, that is what it was designed to do.
Feeling the need for speed (143mph top speed) with out breaking the Bank. Or just want a car that is fun to drive and good on fuel.
