wastegate actuator mounting damaged, what's my options?

My 2013 JCW had a front end crash, the 2 wastegate actuator mounting points are cracked. I was thinking to replace the part (I guess it called quick spool?) but can't find anywhere to sell that piece alone. I will be nervous to use JB weld, it won't be as strong as the original. Any advice or idea how should I fix it?

my car has N18 engine, I was told N14 & N18 use different turbos, not sure if the compressor housing is the same. Also JCW inlet has slightly bigger diameter than cooper S. I will pm the seller, but usually seller in China doesn't know their product so well. Thanks for the link.

Also, PM the vendor sponsors (WMW, ECS, Pelican, etc). That way you'll get the right part made for that turbo..

Hello,

That stinks.

That's not a separate part for the wastegate or have a guy weld a bracket to the turbo and then remount the waster gate but that would take some work and skill.

Did you get the insurance to pay for it? If you do i would get a new turbo. That's a critical mount.

We have a refurb option but your turbo is physically damaged so you will not get a core. As the body cannot be reused.

It will be out of my pocket. I visited couple welding shops this morning, all told me it will be hard to repair, and may not be reliable. I probably will buy a new one. JMTC S42 looks like a better choice for me.

Yep, might as well upgrade while you can. Someone might buy the old one off you for parts.

I bought Quaife LSD and OS STR clutch from you guys last night, plus the turbo, what else is recommended to be upgraded? I am completely out of my budget now, but willing to keep that in mind and save the money for.

For the stud connects to the turbo and pre-cat, I have one stuck in the old turbo housing, do you have that for sale?

Thanks for the orders. The assembled by kit is on sale, but the gasket is on Backorder. If you just need the stud get it all together with the other order and combine it for free shipping. Contact our sales team.

Anything else would be maybe the JMTC ported exhaust manifold CNC-S3MKT. And i will get an upgraded intercooler so that turbo can breathe as well as an intake, ECS CF intake. So that covers intake, turbo, and you have the clutch covered. Last would be maybe the exhaust but you have the JCW one ( just do the resonator delete), so unless you like that Akrapovic or maybe Ipe innnotech if you want a better sound. We have the JCW challenge exhaust but its on Back Order. Catch Can would be next after that if you dont already have one.

Here is what is left on the holiday sale. Some of the vendors are MINI and some are not. Those are the main items on sale till the 3rd on Jan. Milltek, CTS Turbo, ECS, assembled by ECS, Ziza, Spec D, NM engineering, Moton, AST, P3 gauge. Those are all MINI
