That's a very close estimate b/c we just tuned two customers yesterday and their numbers are right around the 218whp/182wtqe area;
Customer #1) 2004 MCS with 17%; Milltek, 550cc Bosch; Newman Cam, RMW header; 228whp/189wtqe
Customer #2) 2005 MCS with 550cc Bosch, 15%, CAI, Milltek, 222whp/175wtqe
Cool thanks.
One more question: Do the injectors you're selling come with the connection adapter?
Looking at post #5, the net gain from E85 was 23whp and 11wtqe; so subtract these numbers from the current state (243whp/193wtqe), you get approx 220whp/183wtqe ball park...

For the SS304 Straight header w/ CAT: List $799; $699 Intro Special
For the Mild Steel Straight Header w/ CAT: List $699; $650 Intor Special
Options:
- Jet-Hot High Temp coating $150 per header (either SS or Mild Steel)
- Test Pipe with the Flex unit $175 each (either Stainless or Mild Steel).
We just finalized the design based on our testing, so the first batch will be ready after AMVIV. Feel free to PM me if you'd like to be placed on the Waiting List.
cheers.

Good question though, it reminds me of that insurance commercial where they sell you the popsicle w/o the stick..
We would never do that do any customer
So if it was normal gas you would be at:
216whp/178ftlbs with the header + cat.
Or the below with E85 and E85 + the header + cat.
234 184 15% Pulley with Bosch 550cc Injectors + Shrick Cam + E85 Fuel
239 189 15% Pulley with Bosch 550cc Injectors + Shrick Cam + E85 Fuel + MegaMynes Header (Cat version)
So the header made 5whp and 5ftlbs.
Why make a non-cat version? The M45 cars are totally un-livable without a cat. Isn't running cat less and E85 an oxymoron
?

1) 1.5-inch equal-length runners into a 4-1 collector w/ CAT (Straight version)
2) 1.5-inch runners stepped up to 1 5/8 runners - Equal-length w/ CAT (Stepped version)
LB, you misintepreted my meaning when you quoted me... that's not what i wrote originally. Both versions have the CAT. The Test Pipe is something a customer can add to our header and make it a "RACE HEADER"
Instead of buying another complete 'race header' and paying another $800; or if there's a bad CAT, we can simply swap out the CAT section and not have to switch out the entire header just to change one component. For those who race their Mini's and want to use C16 leaded gas, just swap out the CAT and you're done in 10 minutes. I wanted to name this a SMART Header, but i like the MegaMynes Header better
Now we're talkin Mike. Thats impressive because that is still the stock head right.
Just wanted to point something out that's not 'evident' on the graphs: The "laziness" of the pedal is virtually eliminated... as soon as you press down on the gas pedal, the MINI lurches forward... fun stuff
But after AMVIV, i'm going to try to wrap up on the testing and get her ready for the turbo upgrade. At this point, i'm looking at two more sets of tests:
- Nvidia Exhaust
- Another company's cam (which shall remained nameless for now).
I'm guessing that we can hit the 250whp mark with the addition of the exhaust. We shall see
For those attending AMVIV, we will have the headers on display. Feel free to drop by and check them out...

Speaking of the design...why does the cylinder 4 primary make pretty much a straight shot to the collector, while the other three primaries have bends? Is that just to keep the equal length?

How come no pics of the stepped header? That's what made me thing one was with and one was without. So did Hubie design and built the headers or did you guys? Will the production units use one piece mandrel bent tubes?
You got me interested in the E85. I checked and unfortunately there are only 19 filling stations in California
. You guys actually have 25 which is amazing considering the size and population difference between AZ VS Cali. Currently there are only 13 states selling E85. I don't have any stations even close to me unfortunately. But I like the idea and maybe some day if E85 grows It might be an option. So what is the exhaust going to be like? Are you going to run E85 with the turbo set up Mike?
Longboard
We give credit where credits are due.Yep. Function over beauty. Equal-length is much more desirable than looking pretty b/c once you put it on, you can't really 'admire' it anymore. But with the function, you'll feel it every time you press the gas pedal. That's probably why it responds so well.
E-85 is a must-have in my future, there's three stations very close to me right now. Do you have to use a laptop? It would be nice if there was a way to switch fuel maps instantly by just hitting a switch.
The MEMS can do the instant map switching, but not the stock ECU :( we wish it was that simple
the Germans got that thing on lock!!!
