As many of you are aware, I opened up my shop here in Orange County California just a few months ago. Things have been going pretty well, and now I'm now in need of some part time help.

Tasks would include but not be limited to:

1.) Helping me fulfill online orders and getting them to the nearest shipping outlets (FedEx and USPS)

2.) Responding to email or phone inquires while I'm travelling. These could be set up so you can do it from home. Note, the phone call volume is very low--so I'm not looking for a receptionist.

3.) Assisting on detailing/paint polishing--Will have to be trained regardless of experience level.

I think the position is probably suited for a college student in the OC/LA area looking to spend a few hours a day, or a few days a week. At the moment, I only need a commitment of 8 to 10 hours a week. Pay will be fair and dependent on experience.

Note I've been a one man business for over 12 years, and have learned to do quite a bit by working for myself. The ideal person for this job is someone that is outgoing and can think for themselves but is willing to ask for help when they need it. This person will be exposed to a very wide array of tasks that may also include vinyl cutting, silk screening, among the tasks listed above, so the work should never be boring.

Note that I'm not looking for a professional detailer. But being motivated is important, and a plus if you're a MINI owner. Please PM me if you're interested or know someone that might be.

That's sort of correct, I'm inside the former West Coast Corvettes building, which is now Orange County Rod N Customs which is off the 57 (a few more miles east of the 5). I'm working on getting my own sign on the building as well.

You can see the shop from the 57 freeway just before Orangethorpe if you're travelling North from the 91.

Funny - I almost ended up in LA next year for college, but instead I am heading to Boston. Hmm...........working with OG would be such a blast - maybe I will take a year off, hahahaha .

 

Haha, and don't forget, I got a custom paint shop here as well as the owner who does any fabrication--they lift a lot of trucks, lol. Although not a truck, ever seen a Donk??? LOL. So dream it up, and they can build it, paint it, then we can finish it.
