One-ball modder in Charlotte
It refers to the fact the MCS has two 20-pound *****.
One of them is the resonator and the other is the actual muffler. Many people choose to remove the resonator -- it increases the burp/burbble of the exhaust (without sounding like a 16-year-old's Civic), and some claim reduces back-pressure in the exhaust resulting in 2-4 hp.

Watched Dan do one at Grassroots and it only took him about 30 minutes. He just removes the flips the pipe over and reattaches them together. Call him and he will give you a price. Does very good work, has done alot of Mods on my BLUCOOPR

Nobody's had this done Charlotte though?
I've heard great things about Dan too . . . it's just that it'd be easier around my work schedule to just drop by a local shop in Charlotte on my way home from work -- so if anyone's had this done in town, please let me know.
Otherwise, I'll just wait a week or two and try to set something up with Dan.
Thanks

I live in University City area and have had Dan do all my mods. He'll work weekends to make it convenenient for those of us who are tied up during the week...
Another option, he's a night owl, and only an hour or so away from here, and the mod takes about the same...so...one round trip one evening and you're in!
Of course, this from a guy who drives to Raleigh to have dinner on certain Thursday nights. ;-)

I think mine was Dan's first (and probably only so far) cabrio one-ball. He did a very good job - but it's a LOT more work than it is on a coupe... because of the extra bends in the cabrio exhaust... just be aware that (a) he may or may not be interested in doing another cabrio and (b) if he does, it will take longer and he may charge more...
