See, you had to say it and jixed it! That's exactly what happened, with the promise that they'll show it NEXT week. It sounded like they got an unexpected number of calls from SCCA types wanting to talk about the Nationals.

 

What do you expect? It's friggin Speed Channel. They might as well rename the channel "NASCAR Man Love."

 

Agreed. There was a whole hour of useless (NASCRAP) programming right before Wind Tunnel, and then they have to devote more dead air to the same stupid stuff.

I've gone from 4 nights a week 3hrs a night of speed (one day planes one day cars one day boats) to DVR'ed F1 races only. (and a glimpse of the grandam race by pure luck this weekend)

 

ALMS, F1, Speed World Challenge, Koni Challenge for me. Otherwise Speed is mostly worthless. They dumped WRC which I loved.

I used to watch Rolex *cough* NASCAR Sports Cars *cough* Grand Am series, but not so much anymore. Seems the only time they even have any fans is when the NASCAR drivers guest drive for Daytona. I can't stand the DP cars. They're about as interesting as fungal growth.

 

F1, ALMS, and sometimes the interesting stuff like the Mazda Miata races (though they're on at odd times).

Damn I miss SpeedVision.
