Rota now has the Boost in 16x6.5 4x100 56.1mm

Rota is now making the Boost in 16x6.5 in 4x100 BP 45mm offset and 56.1mm hub bore. This is great news, its now a secondary option to the Slipstream for a change. I think I am going to order a set from 18Racing.com for G-stock usage. Does anyone know roughly what the weight is on these?

Colors are Gun Metal with polish lip, Silver with Polished lip, Black with red lip and Sport Bronze. I am not sure about bronze or black with red lip, but, the other 2 should look great.

Will post pics once the Hoosiers are mounted and the wheels are weighed on the scientific scale.

If anyone is interested, I think 18Racing.com has some stock coming in a day or two.

Boost looks good-

Bronze

Slipstreams

Both are viable options for track or autocross or both duties.

Good also for street driving.

I just weighed a Slipstream in 16x6.5 45mm offset in 56.1 hub bore. It weighed in on my scientific scale (+/- .001lbs) at a suprising low of 13.160 pounds! Geez, thats only 1.5lbs off the new SSR comp. I know there is some variance on the Slipstreams though, I had another that weighed in at 13.550 lbs, not too shabby either way.

I will weigh the Boost when I get them.

Dan

I have both and have tried both during the limited time that I have ran with the Mini. It seems the 17's help with the wheelspin and have a bit more grip, I am sure they will be a bit quicker, but, only time will tell I guess. I put my boost order on hold for now, I decided fresh 17's(corded mine already after 19 runs, lol) and double adjustable Koni's were more important.

19 RUNS?? yikes. were they a fresh set? I'm assuming the 225s have no problem with fit/rubbing. We *still* dont have our R56 yet!

I saw this thread and picked up a set from 18racing. I love 'em. Can't wait to get finished with my break-in period so I can go kick some butt in H-stock. Err, I mean, lose horribly because I suck. But oh well, I'll have fun.
