2009 RSR Archives
I just saw it last night (they showed it again in the wee hours). Great job, great race, lousy luck! Sorry guys, sometimes it's the little things.....like radio batteries..... Oh well, everyone else on the ST grid knows you had that race on merit! Well done!
I love the look of the yellow car (#198?). It stands out without being garish and is much easier to pick out among a crowd of others in the background when they're focusing on someone else (as is usually the case). Plus it's just a cool look.....best on the grid IMO.

You are correct sir! I missed the first half hour or so last night so I plan to try again (gonna set the DVR this time).

Fantastic race, you were robbed of a win. However, it was almost worth it from a spectator's perspective to be able to watch von Moltke hold off Pobst at the end. That race is being saved, and now I have to figure out how to get it off the directv dvr, because those things seem to fail a lot..
Wrap up
196 w/ Jade and VJ finished 18th after being forced to make a green flag stop for fuel / tires / driver change. Bad timing as a caution came out 2 laps later and many of the others pitted on the yellow.
197 w/ Randy and Owen finished 19th after being put out of contention early when an RX8 blew the 'keyhole' turn and slammed into the car (lap 5) flattening the right front tire. The car when two laps down and we were effectively put out of the running.
198 w/ Adam and Trevor DNF'ed after going off track late in the race and damaging the front suspension.
The Team struggled all weekend with handling issues so it was a frustrating few days. The weather was spotty with rain cold heat . . . you name it and we saw it. We could never get any clear track time for setup.
Anyway . . . we still had fun and are already prepping for Barber. Lady Luck continues to be elusive. Our day will come . . . . .

I finally watched the race and its unfortunate that most of the editing happened in the latter part of the race.
They also showed RSR briefly in the lead then the yellow flag.
While it was great to see RSR on tv I was hoping for more MINI love from Speed.
All I gotta do is burn the race to DVD.

THIS SPEED TELECAST is for the GS class . . . no ST . . . no Minis, Sorry...
The next race at Barber will be televised and will be the ST class. TV date TBD.
Randy
The Grand Am site schedule says the Barber race will be televised 25 July, 12PM on Speed. You say TBD; does that mean the 25 July, 12PM is for the GS race but the air time for the ST class race is still TBD?
That WILL be the ST race. The GS does not have TV coverage at Barber.
