Hi, I just saw this today. Is it still open or is July 31 an absolute deadline?? If so what can I expect during the day. I am a new MINI driver and not familar with what has happened in the past and Spring Creek Raceway. Is it a road course?

most of the info on Second Creek Raceway is in the initial post, and what to expect. The track opens at 9am, and most of us will be there until 5-6 pm.

The July 31st was an absolute deadline, we have closed registrations...as we wanted to keep numbers to reasonable amounts. We have accepted late registrations on an individual basis. For those that registered after the 31st deadline, the fee is locked in at $100 without refund, as only those that got their money in on time will receive some return.

I will send you a PM on the topic and we can talk about it, but as it stands, the registration is pretty much closed at this point. We have accepted some late registrations for those that attended last year, or those that are members of RMCB5 or MINI5280.

Check your PM for info and we can chat from there.

cheers
jon

Hey there Brad,

It's pretty wet at the moment and the weather report calls for isolated thunder showers tomorrow.

Does the track stay open in the rain? I've only been to the track once and that was on a dry day. I imagine a wet track could be fun - lot's of slide and drift but easier on the tires.

this is what I just saw

Partly cloudy in the morning...then mostly cloudy
with scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon.
Highs in the lower 70s. Chance of thunderstorms 30
percent.

Hey Jon! Good news on the gears

Limped Silver over to Schomp on Saturday in 1st...dropped it off without a Tee Time for the linkage fix. At 10 am Monday Ian called and said it was all fixed and ready to go! Impressive...considering I did not plan this ahead and they just worked me in. I could not have asked for more. She now runs fine again....

Thought you should know I am not stranded and will make the Buckhorn to Bucksnort this Sunday. If you are not working, and you probably are, pls join us.

Thanks for the fun day.

for those of you that got your payment before the July 31st deadline, there is a refund possible. check out the thread and contact Pat directly through his email linked in the bottom of his post. I think this is easier than me trying to contact everyone individually.

Early bird get's the worm, so to speak...so next year, everyone should try to get their money in really early...this refund will be considerable this year.

Thanks Jon

I got to Pat, and I appreciate the funds back. I will put them towards new tires.
