I will be at the track testing some stuff and generally enjoying our fall weather. I'd be happy to take anyone around the track, or do some driver instruction in your car (as a passenger) no charge...

We will be at Second Creek Raceway at around 10:00am.

Call if you need directions.

Cost for entrance is $60, and you need to bring a helmet (Motorcycle is fine).

Hope to see you there!

Randy,

I may come out for a while, I have the entire day free and would love to go along for some rides again...your car is way fun. Don't think I will drive this time...want to save some money for Mods. I am picking up a MCS sway bar this week...so the process is beginning...

How long do you all think you will be at the track...from 10am until about when?

Cheers
jon

I'm gonna try & take a loooong lunch.
Not to participate (damnit!), but to meet Randy.
I need to see where all our money is going to go~

Cris

ps. I love SCR. We should all enjoy it now as it'll be gone next year
to make way for the new neighborhood.....

Randy, sorry I could not make it...spent the morning putting in a MCS sway bar, then had lunch with friends...but the time all was done, I figured you all would be leaving the track...so I did not drive out.

How did things go? Any new info to relay to us all? Guess I will have to keep my eyes focused on the performance forum for the details.

cheers

Randy, just wanted to drop a line & say thanks for the good time!
It was a joy to (again) enjoy the right line going into "farmhouse" bend.
As an added bonus I didn't have to fix anything.
Looking forward to doing business with you in the future.

Cris

Randy,

Thanks for the all the ride alongs and all the tips today at my first track day. Your drive instruction is super. It was fun to watch you chase, catch and paas the cars and bikes there. I even enjoyed eating the dirt in my car, hope you did, the video is fun. I'll work on subtle throttle usage.

Jeff the Gas Masher

ps Chris , nice to meet you too,

Thanks for coming out guys! It was great to be there as always. We got some valuable info on the Alta exhaust, and learned a bit about the off-roading prowess of the MINI .

I also gathered some interesting data on the S-Lites with the runflat Pirelli euphorias. Typically with Falkens I turn 1:21s, and with the euphorias, I was only about 3-4 tenths off that time - that's with 16 additional pounds per corner and the "crappy" runflats. They aren't as bad as some may have you believe... Of course, my car has more horsepower to lug those bad boys around, so I'm sure that helps quite a bit.

After you left Jeff, we switched the track around and ran it backwards - a much more technical track (and completely different).

All in all, a good day.

Randy
