I'm going to be competing in rounds 3 and 4 for sure. 1, 2, 7 and 8 are up in the air, since they are a long ways from michigan....

I was hoping to see there be a west and east series, but it appears from the schedule that there is only a list of the races in order - no differential.
Does anyone know what the rules will be?
On the chat last night, Phil had mentioned that only the best four races will be taken, but I'm not sure how that would work, and there is nothing written about that...

OK, now I see the rule.
It appears that the top four race finishes will be used for points, including the season finale at Hallet. What that means to me is that you could conceivably go to the first series opener in Vegas, win both races, then go to Hallet and if you win both there, you take it all! Of course, the catch is that if you are tied, the racer with the most wins, or the next highest finish, goes forward.
The other interesting and appropriate rule change is the one car rule. If there is only one car in your class, you automatically move up to the next class. That would have changed things in '06! Good rule I think.
Hmmm, maybe the Mule can go into class 4 and save me some $$...
If you want to race, I have a car for sale that can win and is ready to go for $25K. But, with these rules, you may have to hurry before I rethink it!

Yes there is. There are 8 races for each series (west and east) held at 4 tracks with 2 races held on each track. Then there is a championship held over the course of 2 days at the end of the season in a central location.
EDIT
Nevermind, you got it.
And i don't quite think the mule qualifies for group 4... At least I hope it doesn;t as I'm running group 4...

I know. Its going to me a minimum of 8 hours to the closest race. I'm not gona be able to make it to Sebring because its just too far.
Stock ECU programming, stock head - whammy, class 4...
Don't think so though - I need to sell the Mule to get projects done I want to complete for the business - exhaust, intercooler, header, etc.

I was thinking more along the lines of what your car weighs...
Heh. Well, youre going to do well in class 4 then... I'm just glad youre running the west series instead of the east series.
California Speedway?
hope this is the right thread- is the NAMCC still on for California Speedway in Fontana, Ca. this weekend? Their site has absolutely no mention of it, and I haven't been seeing any discussion on NAM.
I'm hoping so, since I live 15 minutes away and already turned down a Vegas junket. Anyone got the low down?
TIA
