Bump to the top.

Come on guys, let's get some competition going for St louis. I think Phil is making every effort to encourage racers. I am sure you got the email detailing the 2 for 1 entry fees. And towing money.

Although I am slammed at the shop, and exhausted from being on the road every weekend since April, I am planning on making this event.

I figure Way needs some competition for a change

Hope to see you all there.

any recommendations on hotels close to the track? anybody with experience on this road course? how bumpy are the transitions to the oval? Are we driving the full road course, or will it be a setup like Las Vegas?

I plan on arriving about 8pm Friday night. What sort of area is the track located in? Is it possible to park the rig and sleep in the trailer on site?

Bones

I hear MINIUSA is prepping a JCW car that may be competeing at St. Louis and for sure at Summit point. It will be nice to see what the factory can do against the aftermarket...

Don't worry Brian, you will be sending them back to the factory.

Best Western Pear Tree Inn in Collinsville, IL is about 10 minutes from the track.
Several of us from TN will be staying there. Dunno any details about sleeping at the track.

I had a dream last night that I was preparing for the 24 hour drive to St. Louis just to watch the race.

I guess dreams are free.
