Next race at Sebring
Well Randy,
Good job winning the first race, wish I could have participated with you guys in Vegas.
Just might be there at Sebring if I can get away from work by thursday. Looks like you could use some competion...seems like it was a fun event.
It just seems that only one race per event is hardly enough after driving across the country. Two day event with three races would be ideal where you could throw out one race of the weekend. Just my thoughts.

I spoke with many coming back from the track who also indicated the majority of track time was targeted towards the first timer and not the all out racer. I think Phil wishes to keep a good balance of hard core racing and introduction to track time newbies. You have to keep the flow coming and you cannot overlook the new guys. They may be your racers the next year.
Congrats to Randy Webb on his win.
But WE are the true winners... It is great to see North America have its own MINI specific race series.
Thanks Phil Wicks for bringing the JCC here to us Yanks!
Can't wait to see how my local guy Walen of Way Motor Sports did

Nothing I post is 'Official'
but there were 6 MINIs, 3 Miatas and a Golf (I think. VW anyway...)
Waylen finished well. Grant Barclay practiced and warmed up but then had some sort of electrical issue (I think) and did not take the grid.
Madness was running as were a few others.
I will post more pics as I can.

Unlimited Class:
Webb lead basically start to finish with no serious heat put on him and by the end had a sizeable lead.
MINI Mania was in second for the first 1/4 to 1/3 of the race, but then had some kind of issue that force them to retire early.
By way of the MINI Mania withdrawl, MINI Madness moved from third to second.
210 HP (JCW)
Brian from Webb Motorsports finished in third overall, but in 1st in his class.
Way Motorworks and the MINI driven by R Peterson (sorry, wish I could remember a name and a screenname) finished behind Brian. As I recall, Way won the class for those that were closer to stock (power).

Congrats Randy and all the racers
we had a great time until 5 minutes to start when the car refused to start. No power, completely dead. Extremely disappointed is an understatement, especially after all the work getting the car ready for Las Vegas. The car is still in the trailer so I don't know the cause of the electrical woes.
For the first time the car had run in anger I was pretty happy. I ran a a low 60 second lap in practice, and Walen and I were right next to each other after qualifying. I was looking forward to a good race.
Good luck in Sebring guys, I wish I could join you. See you all in St Louis in June.

Randy, congrats on the nice win!
I heard that the Award Ceremony didn't exactly highlight this achievement? I know that Peter of M7 was a little shocked that there wasn't more attention for the race, its participants, and of course winners...
Oh well, glad to see Randy doing well!
