Slotted brake rotors
I believe TCE can hook you up... I'll see if I can get Todd over here. FWIW, from what I picked-up from him, some, if not all of the benefits of slotted rotors can also be had simply with slotted pads. I'm sure he can confirm...
I recommend to buy some D/S rotors off Ebay. $200 dollars for 2 front Brembo rotors and 2 rear Zimmermans is pretty much a steal. There are already several threads about the reliability of the D/S rotors off ebay, but I have had them on my car for almost a year and had the rotors glowing orange several times and they still appear to be fine. Even if one were to crack, I could buy 2 brand new ones off ebay for $100. Despite some peoples opinions, I think its a small risk well worth taking.
Slots can aide in pad outgassing and 'wiping' of the rotor surface. All good for most competition use. On the flip side this can lead to increased wear, dust and noise for the street user.
Slotting of pads can help in this and is done to vent the pad as well as allow for expansion of the pad without cracking.
I do not offer stock sized rotors so I cannot be of any help beyond some input to what and why. Keep in mind that any change to rotor surface will not increase rotor torque or thermal capacity. By far however the addition of slots, a good set of pads and some SS hoses is the best choice for those who do not want to fund the BBK.
