Straight Pipe or Muffler delete

Has anyone done a straight pipe or rear muffler delete on a countryman or Paceman yet. I just got out of a 135i with a BERK rear muffler delete and loved it. What companies offer a rear delete or would I have to get one custom made? I'm not worried about droning or fault codes....

I've haven't seen that set up on a late model MINI, most of the guys are doing resonator delete or full cat back systems.

I just added tips until I decide what to do with my Paceman, but I think removing the rear muffler and doing a one into two split will be an easy job for any exhaust shop.

It may sound awesome...

I think coopercrap makes a countryman car back sans muffler. It'd fit the Paceman. Otherwise like mentioned my decent shop should be able to fab it up fairly easily.

Waiting for the mailman to bring my Burger tune is killing me right now. He's like 20 minutes late already..... I think I'm going to fab up a Y pipe from an R56 stock exhaust and then use some flex pipe at the end. Should be interesting....

I would be great to hear it when you complete the project...

I think this thread is dead, but just to say it, I love the way the Coopercrap CB sounds. Not to mention once you actually put it in the cart, it's 325.00 + shipping.

Sounds like a good deal to me.

I just added it to the cart as if I were checking out.

EDIT:

It's back to 450 as far as I can tell. Though what I ended up doing was cutting the 2nd Cat and Resonator out....and it sounds awesome. No drone on the highway, pop and burble is crazy loud. It sounds like a proper sports car now.
