My 2012 Countryman S All 4 has had a few codes I was meaning to fix and clear. I finally got around to reading the exact error and it was for the side marker/scuttle lights. Of course I'm thinking its a bulb because that would be the obvious fix. Yep, I thought wrong.

Apparently the last owner had some kind of rigged up LED that they couldn't part with and cut the wiring. One side has enough wire length to fix but the other side has jack squat. My question to all those tinkerers and R60 owners out there.... is there access to that wire in the wheel well or does the wiring go strictly in the A pillar?
