Anyone know anything about this code? PCV heater open circuit.
Got it after doing an oil change.....???
I'm reading the code with an older scanner that only will give me generic codes, don't know if this maters.
Thanks

Found that the PCV heater wire was not plunged in all the way..it's fixed now. The dealer that I bought the car from has some quality control issues in the service department! When they did there "inspection" they must have changed the oil and inspected the air filter but in the process managed to tie some of the wires and hoses in knots and leave support clips unclipped!
Anyway after a few little hicups I am loving my ALL4!

I'm having an issue with an intermittent P053A Code....where is the PCV heater located? 2012 Countryman S
I need to check the connection since the dealer just replaced the timing chain and all the wring has been left hanging (they broke off all the clips rather than cutting the zip ties).
Can't seem to find any pictures/description of it's location.
