Oddball Problem With Audio Presets
Oddball Problem With Audio Presets
I did a search on this, but it seems this problem is unique to our car.
If you save any Sirius station to the Preset position #2, you cannot access it using a voice command. This happens ONLY with respect to Preset position #2, and ONLY if a Sirius station is saved to Preset position #2. The problem occurs irrespective of which Sirius station you happen to have saved as Preset position 2.
If you are currently listening to another Preset position, and say "Preset 2" or "Position 2", the voice response is "You are listening to Position 2" (which is what the response should be), but the audio system will not change stations.
And if you are listening to any broadcast radio station (AM or FM), and speak one of the same commands as above, the voice response is "You are listening to ZERO AM (or FM) at position 2". If the Preset position were empty, the voice response would be "there is no station saved to position 2", so that seems to be an indication that the system knows there is something saved there, but can't find it.
On the Preset list display you can see that there is a Sirius station saved there, and you can access it by manually scrolling to it.
Anyone ever experience anything like this??? Really odd. Again, if I save a broadcast (AM or FM) station there, everything works as it should. And all other preset positions seem to work normally.

No one responded. I'd appreciate it if someone else who has a nav equipped car would try to duplicate this. I'm thinking that perhaps it's a software issue. My car has an 4/2012 build date. Thanks.
