Angry No sound from speakers?!

My stereo was working fine this morning and now there is no sound whatsoever from the speakers. The display is fine, it shows Sirius, CD, or whatever device you have playing BUT NO SOUND! It's not muted and it isn't turned down. Fuse? Gremlin? LOL Anybody else have this problem? If so, how did you fix it if it isn't a fuse?

Hard to figure. Do you have a bluetooth device that could be muting the radio. When my phone rings the radio stops playing. A long shot.

Well, I have bluetooth on my phone but it is turned off because it won't stay paired. It might be something like that, though - whatever it is, it's frustrating! The sunroof wasn't opening correctly either today. It kept just cracking open instead of fully opening, then it finally worked after a few tries. I hope this isn't a sign of even more electrical problems.

Took the car to the dealership for them to see what the problem is. The amp was blown, so they have to replace that. So simple just wish I didn't live 150+ miles away from the dealership LOL oh well...

Funny, had my ipod connected and drove 20 miles before noticing that the music was only coming out of one speaker. One minute into "Oh _____, I'm gonna have to take it to the shop!", we found the USB was not fully engaged into the phone. Easy fix. Whew!

I wish!

I wish mine was that easy! Next week though, I'll have my stereo in working order again. Can't wait!

Well, I took my car to the dealership yesterday to replace the amp (or stereo - not sure). I was there about 3 hours and then they told me the programming had stalled on the down load about 15 minutes before it was supposed to finish. It takes 3 - 5 hours. So I got a 2011 Mini Cooper as a loaner and drove that 180 miles home. It's cute, but I'm pretty sure it wants to kill me and/or someone else LOL So far I've hit my parents' dog and almost ended up in oncoming traffic. I've NEVER done that. I miss my Countryman! Also, the stereo in the MC is a Harmon Kardon but the one in my R60 seems so much better...however, the stereo in the MC did WORK at least!

I still have the 2011 MC...another part had to be ordered from Germany for the stereo, so they let me keep the loaner (which is growing on me.) I have had the loaner for a week now. I miss my car though because it was MY car! LOL Not a loaner that I'm constantly paranoid about damaging in some random way.
