Angry Re:help with Ipod

Ok here goes...I have Ipod hooked up to mini-connect . When I click and choose an artist and go to "all tracks" once I pick a chosen song it doesn't continue to next song automatically . I have to go back and go into tracks and choose another song. In other words it doesn't go from song 1 to song 2 etc. Please inform. Thanks

Hummmm?

I will look into this issue... mini connected is designed to push through the iphone. I have yet to hook up any ipod, but will. and will figure this out for you... that is unless you have already solved. I have had zero issues w/ iphone.

Have you tried the "plugin" option that is listed under Mini Connected? You do NOT have to be running the mini connected app to get this. This is the feature that supports the "iPod Out" feature built into the iPod operating system. Basically, it replicated the iPod classic menu system right on the mini connected screen. It is MUCH easier to use than the menu system that you get by accessing the iPod via the "external devices" menu option under multimedia.

I have only used "Plugin" with an iPhone, but it should work with an iTouch and the iPod Classic (these three models were listed by Apple to support the iPod Out feature).

When using the external devices menu, don't select a track - leave it at "all tracks" and hit play. Then it will play the whole album. When you select a particular track, it puts that track on repeat.

But, see my post above. The "Plugin" way is sooooo much easier to use.

what you are essentially doing is telling the radio to play a certain track. You need to go into an album or a playlist so it can play the album or playlist in order for your mini to play all the songs on a given album or playlist. if you go to songs and select a song and only that song is listed it will play that song alone then stop because there isn't another listed within that list. Hope this clears things up for you.
