Saw this on amazon. Seems a lot more reasonably priced than other interior led kits. Think it's worth a shot. Anyone think otherwise?

I haven't done a LED upgrade yet, it's on my agenda. I have heard about great things about this set from ECS Tuning: http://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2012-C...LED/ES2602082/. However, it is significantly more expensive.

When I do, I will order from ECS Tuning. You could ask on www.cmonfb.com, maybe someone on there has used the kit you referenced.

 

Thanks for the mention , our kits are error free and include all the interior leds , puddles, trunk, glove box .. etc. Also free ship on master kits. I don't know what comes with other company kits.

I can vouch for ECS kit, I have installed the LED's without a hitch... made my mini look more upscale.... plus their PDF instructions are spot on

 

ECS has a great rep....I purchased off Ebay no issues...but what I question is actual brightness of LEDs?? My LEDs work great....but seem dim....not sure how brightness of LEDs compares not sure it's indicated??

But...for the price difference...go with the NAM vendor....I didn't realize ECS sold them when I purchased mine......for what it's worth.....

Sorry to hear you had an issue , we have been running these for some time and had no issues. Also make sure there was no water or moisture in the housing or connections as road debris can crack plastic the light housing letting moisture in that can affect the connections.

I purchased the same LED driving lights from ESCTuning mentioned above. I recall the first day I had them on, they lights came on when I unlocked the MINI from the fob. However they don not come on anymore when unlocked. But they do come on when the car starts. Any thoughts why this is?

Thanks for our purchase.

For those front position lights, when you have the wiper stalk clicked all the way up on auto lights, your marker lights, position lights, and taillights. Light up for a bit when you unlock the car. Then they dim down after a minute or two. Or shut off when you lock.
When you have the headlight switch click all the way down or off : none of your lights will come on when you unlock. Outside lights just flash a couple times.

This is the same if you did not have the Ziza LED position lights in.

Awesome! thank you the reply, I did not know that and now makes total sense. I bought LED license plate bulbs from a different source. They didn't work properly. The connector melted to the wire When I get my refund I will be buying the ones from ECS. I am cruising the site right now, for potential headlight bulbs. I have the halogens and the are so dull. Any suggestions? Didn't see any under lighting for the MINI.

Your are welcome. I like leaving it in the upper top position. Now on newer MINI with the auto lights options all the way below center, believe it does the same thing. That pic its on center and all off.



Its like assist lights when you have the Ziza plate lights and position lights in LED. Also do the interior Ziza LEDs, it lights up also, and its like a space ship.

Get our Ziza plate light bulbs which are for the Countryman above, you will not have an issue. No bulb out error or anything. Those other company bulbs sound like problems.

Make sure your old connectors are still good and the housing from that other company melting leds. .

For those halogen Countryman headlights they use a H13 bulbs, one bulb for the high & low beam. We do have the Sylvania / Osram Silverstars , One pack does both headlight . Great bulb and look good. Cleaner white light ~4000K
