MINI Cargo Net Pics

Had to take my puppy of 13 years for a ride to the vet and in my old car he regularly tried to jump in the passenger seat.

I unfurled the $250 cargo net that's not exactly what I expected when I ordered it and discovered that it's basically a net to keep stuff from flying into the driver and front passenger area. It mounts to points in the headliner as well as on the seats near the floor.

Had I known this, I would have passed. But today, it turned out to be useful and I've now got a doggie gate to tote the pup and a net in case I ever decide to haul stuff. Pics follow for those that are wondering what it is before you decide to pull the trigger.

I also have the flat load floor with a blanket over it with dog hair over that!

Oooh... I might actually have to invest in one of those. Two of my dogs are very good about staying in the back, but my Schipperke feels an insatiable need to stand with her front paws on the armest and lean into the A/C coming out of the dash. It makes me so nervous! And no matter how many times I tell her "no" and push her back she persists. That $250 might actually be really worth it to corral her in the backseat!

Or you could just buy a dog belt.

Believe me, I tried that repeatedly. Our other two dogs just accept it and chill out. Our Schip, however, panics when she's restrained in any way. She flips out & starts spinning in the seat and chewing on the belt. She has eaten one all the way through, and injured herself twice. So we gave up on that.

Looks like there's a net in your future!

Cheaper than my V70 net..... Might be room for an aftermarket net with bigger holes also.
