JB+ or Manic stage 2 tune??

I was doing some looking around and want a nice driving mini. There are people raving about the JB+, but I would imagine and for more $$ the Manic tune would be far better. Any thoughts? R60S

The JB+ is good and many of my customers started with JB+ before going to a Manic ECU flash.

I just went from a JB+ to Manic stage 1. Night and day difference. I can't even imagine what stage 2 is like. Save your money and go Manic!

Where did you purchase your tune? Does manic sell only through retailers? I looked on their site and one of the closest locations to me listed on the map (San Fransisco) doesn't exist anymore...

How much did this tune cost you?

-Anyone can chime in-

$500 for the tune. $200 for the SPS switch so $700. Only through dealers.

Tune

MINI Dynamics did my Stage 2 tune. It's a different car now. It's awesome. Fed Exed my ecu to them monday got it back thursday. Yes, Manic tunes are only through retailers. You'll need upgraded exhaust, fmic and Dp for stage 2. With SPS Switch a $1,000 budget will cover it along with a set of new cold plugs. Worth every penny.

Is the SPS switch worth the extra $200? I would think my wife would want to power slide into the grocery spots, right??

Lol. The SPS switch is critcal for passing inspection via ODB2. By switching between modes, as needed, the switch allows the ability to control how much HP the car outputs via the maps.

JB+ Question

Complete Newbie here I have had my 2014 Paceman barely 5 days. I just read today that I an install this JB+ electronic tuner in 15 min, and drive off with basically JCW power (I'm sold). I ready to pull the trigger today, but before doing so I just want to make sure that it will work with my car which is a 2014 Paceman S. I'm sitting here with credit card in hand, can someone tell me if this is the correct one to order for my car. Unfortunately, the site is not very descriptive.

It's obvious what I would say. My best customers came from Acessport, Vivid, JB+, DNA or Racing Chip and say they should have done Manic the first time. Smooth, safe and powerful.
