Tyrolsport Shift Rx for R60: Who wants them?

I posted this in the R56 forum too, but I figured the Countryman crowd would be interested in this too.

This i a bit of a call to arms for the Mini community for those that own 2010+ Minis and want the Tyrolsport Shift Rx short shifter. Apparently, while they have the design changes made to make it fit with the newer vehicles, they aren't seeing enough demand to warrant a production run. Personally, I'd much prefer this type of short shifter over the shift rod extensions that are more common.

The cost would be a little higher than the one that is available now for 2007-2009 vehicles, putting it at around $250. They are looking for at least 25 people to commit before they will do a run of these shifters. Personally, I'm in, but me, myself and I are not enough.

Show your support here, and maybe we can get some of these shifters made.

Disclosure: I have absolutely no ties to Tyrolsport. I just want one of their products
