Sunscreen recomendations
Sunscreen is required when owning a convertible.
For some reason I can put in a 6 hour ride on my bicycle without using sunscreen, but 2 hours in my Roadster and my arms get fried.
The challenge is finding sunscreen that does not leave a greasy residue all over the interior.
We have been using Bullfrog Ultimate Sheer Protection, but unfortunately Bullfrog has discontinued this wonderful product
Anyone out there have any recommendations on a 30+ SPF sunscreen that will not require an interior detail after using?

Having to clean the interior is one thing - having to repair it is another.....
I used to own a Mercedes SLK with a coloured interior and the cheap SPF50 sunblock from my local grocery shop (yeah, high end stuff...) made the colour bubble up like paint stripper. I was fairly impressed that the Mercedes dealer replaced the centre console under warranty without a quibble.

All over the interior? Gee, if I had that much activity going on in my car, I'd be discrete and at least put the top up for some semblance of privacy.
Seriously, I just use a hand-applied sunscreen (no spray) to all solar facing surfaces that don't come into contact with anything. Make sure my hands are clean and I'm good to go.

I use this. I spray it on and then rub it in. I don't notice being greasy after its use.

As a convertible owner, some spray is greasy and stinks well ...like sunscreen. During MTTS with the top down for 5 days all day , Hawaiian tropic sunscreen lotion in spf 30 worked great

We recently did a 2,200 miles road trip with more than 85% top down. We used sun screen all the time. It surely is a challenge not to put it everywhere the car is in contact with arms, hands, and legs.
For many years now we've been using Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-touch. Often we use the 110 SPF. We like these ones the best because after a few minutes it does feel dry to the touch. However we still get sunscreen spots on the car. The best trick is to apply sunscreen at home and wash your hands before getting in the car. We can't always do that though.
Regular cleaning really helps. It's not great to let the sun cream linger on surfaces too long. I use a light solvent for leather to remove it. It works well.

Website that offers advise on sunscreens
This summer I came across the following website, http://www.ewg.org/2015sunscreen/abo...ch=Solar+sense, that provides I think some good info.
At the time I was looking to see what was being said about different spray sunscreens based on their chemical components( I.e. Which are recommended and which to avoid). Hope this helps.

Earlier this year I came across a website, ewg.org, that gave all kinds of good info on ranking/comparing sun screens against one another. At the time I was following up on the chemical(s) being used in spray sun tans and trying to find one that was not blatantly bad for you. I hope this info helps.
