Roadster - Tall driver?

I have plenty of room in my hardtop being 6'2" 250 - is there headroom in the roadster for tall drivers - or does the windshield rake take away head room?

Thanks!

I'm 6'1" and had no issues with headroom during our test drive. I think the rake starts further forward so the top of the windshield is actually in the same place.

I'm 6' 5" and fit fine , seat all the way back What I do find is with the windshield rake, I'll lean forward a bit to see stop lights when sitting at an intersection. No big deal really.

for traffic lights

I saw this on a mini during a rally I was on. It's supposed to help you see the traffic lights without bending down to look up.

Yes, I've had a similar prism on my windshield (from http://lightinsight.com/), first on my earlier 2007 R56 and now on my Roadster. Very useful; I recommend it.

I'll second that! I had one on my '03 MCS and found it to be invaluable.

It was my first--and only--modification!

Im 6'7 and I test drove a roadster with plenty of room, I didn't get a chance to try it with the roof up being that it was such a nice day. My head was still below the top of the windshield, so it should be fine

The roof of the Roadster is actually taller then that of the Coupe. I am 6"2" and had no trouble fitting in the car at all or feeling claustrophobic! I think you will be just fine.

I have a LightInSight for my 2005 MCS and I'm 6'2". It makes life a lot easier at traffic lights.
As far as tall people entering a Roadster, you just need to remember to duck your head getting in. Once you're in it's a good fit.

Or, if you're driving with the top down, as we all should be whenever possible, just don't scrape your head on the clouds!

6'3" no problems. Being tall is a good thing in a R59 especially if you don't get the power top - long arms are better for retracting the roof as well.

Head room is good for me (6'2"). But--any tall drivers having trouble with the rearview mirror blocking forward vision? It doesn't have adjustable height and I have to duck under it to see around right-hand turns.

I also had one on my previous MINI ... and transferred it to thr Roadster. Doesn't work quite as well in the 59. I'm 6'5" and fit fine. But to have the prism in a position on the windshield to see without leaning forward causes you to place it significantly down from the top of the windshiels. Still works ... just not quite as well.

This has always been an issue with tall drivers and MINI rear view mirrors. You'll adjust quickly.
