I was looking for direct sun to show off the CF mirror caps. I need to go back out to this spot at twilight...I think there'd be some great lighting opportunities.

Took these on Saturday on a drive through the Columbia River Gorge at Cape Horn. These are a couple of the better pics I've managed to get, and the first ones I've actually taken with my camera and not just my phone ;p

Poor thing is finally starting to have a few swirl marks be visible in this fantastic weather :(

Autoblog posted this picture of the 2014 F56 Hardtop. Someone in another thread said the 2014 Roadster will remain unchanged. I'm ordering a new Roadster next Spring. I pray the model remains unchanged. Any insight by current Roadster owners?

 

That is correct. I think the current Roadster design is slated to continue for two more model years ('14 and '15).

 

Thank you for your reply, my friend. The new Mini front end doesn't do anything for me. I'm definitely waiting until 2014 to purchase a new Roadster, so it it's important to know the current model Roadster will remain unchanged for the next two model years.

The unique appearance of the current Mini Cooper is classic. How do you improve upon perfection?

The Roadster in the pictures belongs to Mr. T. I admired the car so much I felt compelled to compliment him on his machine.

 

Definitely a gorgeous Roadster. Love the black exterior with the interior colors.

 

We typically drive to Portland to have my Honey's Mini serviced. We always look forward to the beautiful sights and cooler weather with moisture in the air. Our next trip there, however, will be to pick up my Roadster from the Portland dealer.

 

I can't thank you enough for your gracious comments regarding my Roadster, tampadave. I can guarantee you, my decision regarding the color choice did not come easily. I definitely struggled while making the final decision. I tried pushing outside my comfort zone by looking at a bold interior, as well as exterior color combination. My person style took over in the end, resulting in what you see before you. As you so eloquently pointed out, the result was a classic Roadster. I feel it is classic with a masculine, yet sophisticated personality. I just LVE it. Thanks again for your comments.
