Even tho it's raining in WI today, we're off on a six hour (round trip) trip thru the back roads headed north. Would rather have the top down, but I cant wait for the sun to cooperate!

 

Have a great drive! I'd love to know the route you're taking. We were going to drive the back roads of Green Co today but house chores and rain are keeping is back till next week.

 

Hey all, I got a big "THUMBS UP" from the driver of a very nice black Porsche yesterday, plus a big smile. Of course I gave return and smile to the Porsche. I just thought it was interesting. Should have asked him for a race? No, just kidding!

 

Olga and I are headed for the annual Waterloo "Fourth Street Cruise" today. It's raining but ute suppose to give us three hours, or do of relatively clear weather. Who knows, won't have to apologize for the rein spots on Lil Raggi.

I have run with two Porsche's. I have a DP and exhaust etc. But you would be surprised that you can stay with them. I own other fast cars and the speed of a modded roadster is pretty good and the handling is very good. Can't wait to get coilovers, tune, brakes and see what this car is really capable of. Will be going to the track when I get my car where I want it to be. Just having fun intil then.

 

Well just a few days over six weeks, Sunny Blue has arrived. Here are a few pictures we took as we road around the lakes and mountains of East Tennessee to start the break in process. We wanted something unique for our Roadster so I designed the logo on the side stripe myself. My wife summed it up best when she said you cannot ride in this car without feeling Happy!!!

Very nicely done. I did a different type of stripe too, but on the Viper extension. Like your side stripes.

very nice, fb. Did MINI Motoring Graphics make that side stripe for you, or is it aftermarket ?

 

My fist Mini was a Y reg City I restored.

 

I did the design in Adobe InDesign and took it to a local auto graphics guy and he cut it out and installed for me before we picked the car up on Friday. Of course the basic stripe is the same as the factory stripe but the layout is a little different.

 

Great looking roadster! The roadster definitely bring a smile to your face everytime you drive it.

 

Your new Roadster is very cool! Love the color and the stripes that you chose...they really set it off!

I hope you enjoy yours as much as my wife and I do ours!

Look'n great. Mines a completely different color, but many similarities to my Lil Raggi.

By the way, Lil Raggi just rolled over 2000 miles yesterday and doing just fine. Only complaint: the Asian automatic transmission. Hopefully in three years they'll have that fixed. Too soft of a shift and you never are sure of when it s going to shift, even in Sport Manual!

Thanks guys, sorry for the lens flares - took it with my phone and I couldn't see the pic until I got indoors. Just put Matte Black R105's on last week. The stripes are 3m Carbon Fiber so they have some really cool texture when the sun hits 'em..could be part of the flare issue..
