The factory summer Dunlops for now. Not sure when I'll swap out to non runflats.

Our first MINI was PW/B. We had our R53 for 7 years IMHO it's the most classic MINI color and also a favorite!

As far as clay bar's go. I use a product called Pinnacle Ultra Poly-Clay. It's alittle safer to use then some others and can be used more often. I've been using it for a couple of years, and am very happy with it.

That's what I picked up. I'll probably wait month or so before I take the challenge. Linda looks like an entire afternoon, including the waxing. Then the birds will really have a nice target.

This is a bit embarrassing , but I haven't waxed a car in ten years... Have them detailed ... So, I really need help : there was a website posted some time ago that sold cleaning products, etc. do you recall?
Like: what is a clay bar, and what does it do?
Need inside cleaners first ... For dust, leather, glass...
Best,
John

I recommend checking out the Prima Car Care Products. They are easy to use and great! Nick is a great help. Also go to the detailing forums and you can find a lot of great info! Hope this helps !

Chemical guys has a great citrus wash. Better than dawn and smells nice.

Prima Banana Gloss is super easy too.

Has anyone removed their arm rest? That was my first mod

On the door or center? Removed the ones on door to recover. Still have to remove and disassemble center to recover, did you find it easy to do?

Mods so far:

Chili Red Viper custom stripes, Shorty antenna, Black side light scuttles, Gloss Black Motegi Racing Wheels with BFGoodrich g-force Sport Comp tires in 205 x 50x 17. Yes, a very different size, but I wanted to try something different. So far I like the look, the comfort is good and it corrects speedometer error better then my 215 x 45 x 17's. I'll send better pictures tomorrow when I get the car cleaned up again.

Hemi ... Your going nuts... Love it!!!
btw: I love my center armrest... Maybe because I am an old bastard that needs to rest whenever possible ... Also: I decided that I will not use a clay bar... Just staying with the basics : good soapy cleaner , good wax, good leather and dash cleaner... Hey: I have to take baby steps here... I did consider ( still might ) replace the side S with the Union Jack...
Also: There should be a mini magazine and a Mini car club similar to bmwcc and Roundel... Maybe in the future??
I love reading your posts ... Lots for me to learn ..
Ciao,
John

Congrats on the new ride! Looks great.

I had a few minutes over lunch today and thought I would get a spring picture of Trinity.

Try http://www.griotsgarage.com . It's somewhat pricey but they have an extensive line of products.

Caught me by surprise when I first saw the gas Jose sticking out there. Great car you got there, plus you have the hood insulator brings as you have the stripes. It really does keep the heat off the hood, as I found out on Saturday bringing Lil Raggi home. Roadsters are gun!!!!!!!

Yes, he was unloaded on Monday night before the snow storm hit Denver at the dealerships off site delivery facility. My MA personally went down to the site a couple of miles from their dealership to drive him to their dealership to get his accessories installed. Since it was so cold, he stopped and filled him up. He snapped these pictures standing out in the zero degree wind chill! What a great MA I have !!!! I am picking up on Saturday morning at 10:00 am (400 mile trip) and will take some better delivery pictures.

I meant "Roadsters are FUN" too big of fingers for the iPhone.
