Left deposit March 19. Still waiting to find out when it'll be built. According to my MA, it's a niche car and there are not a lot of them around.

BRGII
Leather/Cloth Toffee
Toffee color line
Auto Transmission (wife can't drive stick)
Premium
Technology
Heated Seats
HK sound
Xenon lights

I would like to know if the Recaro seat rumor is true and if it is then what exactly is the issue. Mine is already built and on a boat with recaros and I hope there isn't some problem with them already.
I hope you are right. As of now, I still don't have a VIN number, so I can't check on anything

I hope the Recaros are still available...I was looking forward to them.

Received an update yesterday that our order is still in the order bank so it appears to me that the Roadster is being produced in pretty small numbers, or is a little slow to get to full production. Won't be surprised if our order ends up being a '13 model.

Well folks- Ordered on Jan 7th, took delivery on Monday, have only had a couple non-rainy days to take her for a spin...

Humbly equipped with MINI Connected+NAV and Cold Weather Package. Added a grill badge holder and tinted windows this weekend. Looking forward to summer (it was ~50 degrees when I took this photo).

My JCW Ver. 2.0
Had to go with different seats, since the Recaros are not available at this time...

Blue, I know your bummed about the seats, but the new black and tan combination really looks.

Another really nice and very unique build! No stripe, a darker colour and contrasting leather really seems to work on the roadster.

Thanks, strangely, this was my first color combo. When the Recaros became available I thought I would regret not getting them, so I changed to them. This will be more interesting visually than the all black. Strange how things work out

Thanks Liquid,
In a way, I'm glad I changed to the Toffee, it gave a more classic look to the Roadster. I was on the fence with BRG/Toffee, as that I thought was classic English roadster. This part of the process is what makes these cars so engaging

Interior and profile are from MiniUk. They use a different configurator.

Thanks.

It really is amazing how different the US and UK sites are.
Are we really that different?

My pleasure It's funny you say that, I was just reading someone on the other side of the pond was saying the U.S. got a much better configurator. Apparently, Mini spent a lot more developing the U.S. version. Hmmm. I like aspects of both.

Found out today through my MA, that my JCW went into production today at 5:38AM - OL and ASK MINI still shows it as "on order" So we're looking at 4-5 weeks for delivery
(Ordered Feb 25; Production # March 8)
