Talking Rear Wing ideas for my R58 JCW?

Hi!

My name is Omar and Im from Mexico.

Been thinking a lot of installing an after market rear wing, but there are not so many option, the JCW is not my favorite and there is another look a like the Endurance edition (the OMEGA rear wing), so, if you have photos or idea or another wing in your Coupe and you can share a picture will be awesome!

Thanks!

Have you tried the dealership? It's on the Mini website: https://www.shopminiusa.com/PRODUCT/...S-REAR-SPOILER

That Omega is quite a wing.

Unfortunately, the JCW (plus painting, instillation, and reprogramming) and Omega are more than I can justify for upgrade. But with only the pop-up I've always thought the rear looks like it's missing something. I'm looking around for a spoiler from another car or aftermarket that will fit but it's very hard to one that fits the R58 or R59. But I'm on a mission! lol

Agreed. It needs a little umph so that the function of the top air channel is more obvious. I purchased an R59 spoiler and it looks like it is do able but not for the faint of heart. There's going to be cutting, micro-ballon filler work and some slight fabrication involved. Hopefully it turns out well.

Yeah, it's very cool. Takes a badass mini to sport that wing!

Cool project. Good luck. Looking forward to seeing the results.

Wasn't so sure about the JCW wing as well, so I'm thinking of installing a more aggressive TTRS styled wing, however I'd have to recast the stand since it doesn't sit flush with the body. Hopes this sort of helps with ideas on what to install with your mini!
Also dont mind the tape, I was having trouble putting it in place without properly drilling etc. lol

I know this why a while back but- do you have updated photos, did it work, did it not? and where did you buy this?

Yes, this is an old post, but
I was disappointed to read yet another fizzled thread that highlighted a potential solution but did not follow up. To answer part of the inquiry (where did you buy this?), the poster used an Audi MK2 TT RS Carbon Fiber Trunk Spoiler.
