Sorry about that.

Better than my wife's drive home from work 3 weeks ago, when her R58s met head on with a Caravan. Total loss.

Yes they are! Ohio winters.

I purchased the gloss black JCW trim kit last year when repairing from the idiot. I think the one around my tire will still work. It only broke one clip that I am going to epoxy. The center lower piece (splitter is what NASCAR calls them) is gone and in pieces. Can I order just that as a replacement?

Ugh, sorry to see that.
When I was in college, I took a pretty deserted back road through the national forest to work. Great on the drive out, but packed with deer in the ditches at night. Young & stupid, I'd cruise at less than sane speeds down there. Quit going that way at night as I knew I'd eventually get a high speed deer through the windsheld.

Thanks, will be ordering that center piece shortly. Have to figure out what else I need first. Guess what my Saturday project is.

BTW, at least now I know I prepped the plastic bumper correctly before painting. Where it flexed, just above the left side of the fog light, the paint cracked. If it weren't prepped properly chunks would be missing from not having proper adhesion.

Coincidentally, today I met two deer today myself.

The first passed about 60 feet ahead of Gollum, as we progressed westward on Route 127 around Cape Anne.. He put on a dazzling display of near panic, as he flew across the road in giant bounds with hooves seeking traction on damp asphalt.

I watched as he disappeared into the brush on the left side of the road. Silly me. I know better.

The 2nd deer (there usually is one, as I should have remembered) was DEAD AHEAD and 15 feet away when my attention returned to center, and my reflex was to jink to the right as of course this fella was also going right to left, and moving fast.

When I got home, I inspected my left front quarter carefully, and the back hoof did leave a tiny ding, and there were about a dozen hairs also.

But both the deer and Gollum were lucky.

Cheers,

Charlie

Where I hit mine, there is a woods to the West on the other side of a farm field that is posted no hunting/trespassing. I have seen up to 100 deer standing in the field over by the woods. I need to send the owner of the woods the repair bill.

Sorry, there are too many. They need to up the number hunters can harvest.

I am not seeing the wheel arches by themselves. Are they offered individually or as a set of four?

Thanks!

Sorry, I have been busy with work and my aging father who's having health issues. Didn't have a chance to search the site for them.

Good to hear from you! It was nice meeting you and your wife talking MINI's.

Like I say, this place is a great resource for anything MINI.
