My red stripes are fine, but my black roof stripes faded to gray soon after I got the car in 2014 so I had the dealer take them off. I like the roof all red anyway. I'm not sure why that happened because the car had been at the dealership for like 9 months before I bought it and they hadn't faded yet. I suppose they may have already been replaced though.

 

Yes, once my was replaced , they have been fine. From the MINI insider information it was a bad product from the supplier and it took a couple times to get it right. Old dealership stock might still have the older 1st production dual stripes.

Most likly replaced with the newer stock. Most should have new stock as the part was changed in 2013~ish stock.
