R58 2012 R58 Front Turn Signal Bulb
2012 R58 Front Turn Signal Bulb
I have the clear lens, amber colored light for turn signals. I'd like to change the bulbs to be clear normally, and glow amber when illuminated.
Looking around I come up with either 7506 or PY21W for bulb types. Any idea which one?

Either work as pin configuration is identical. 7506 is an Osram part number and PY21W is a Phillips number. Some people have also used an 1156 and filed off one of the locking tangs. It's not recommended though as the output is less at 402 lumens vs 460. Take a look at the Phillips Silver Vision PY21W bulbs. A little more at $20 but their bright and they last, unlike some of the knock offs.

Anymore chrome on a bulb makes them less bright.
