Rear Sway Bar Options

So, I'm getting a rear sway bar for the R58, it's just a matter of which one. I'd prefer an adjustable one, as I'm looking to do some SCCA tracking on the side.

Alta, H&R, etc...

which one? I'm leaning towards a 22mm adjustable.

Thoughts?

To the best of my knowledge, all of the aftermarket bars are adjustable. I have a 25.5 mm H-sport bar on the middle setting. This one is tubular, so it is pretty light, but stiffness is supposedly the same as 22 mm bars.

Is the rest of your suspension stock? Does color matter to you (H-sport is black, NM is blue, Alta is red)?

Have fun,
Mike

I would gladly recommend the H-Sport Competition RSB. I have it and love the thing. It has roughly the same stiffening on its 3 settings as a 22mm, but this one is hollow so it helps keep added weight down.

I've got the nm bar on mine, with no complaints.

Go with the Hsport Comp sway bar it is by far the best. It only weights 5.5lbs vs a solid bar at 14lbs so you don't add any weight. But it has the nicest bushings as they have a good grease channel to hold the grease in and small steel brackets with zerk fittings that mount it. The larger aluminum brackets are much harder to install as you can't put a box end wrench on them so you have to drop the subframe more. We've been using the Hsport comp bar on all my personal cars and is by far the one we install the most due to it's high quality and reliability.
