Hi folks,

1st post.

Just got offered a 2013 coupe, Cooper w/S handling pkg (wheels, tires, seats, etc). Pepper white w/black top, 5,300 on the clock for $8k + my 2010 pepper white Justa w/sunroof, HK 10 speakers, Leather, low 28k miles. I've owned the Hardtop Justa since last Nov, no issues and wife loves it.

What say you? We have no reason not to buy it except the low viz issue on test drive and reluctance to trade her Justa. Both are manual x'mission, and both in cherry condition.

I have some mini experience from many. many years ago. I'll get to that later...
Just wanted some opinions on the proposed deal, good or bad?

When you test drove it, how did you feel about the very stiff suspension & wheels?

Be sure to insist they certify it as a CPO car to get the extended warranty.

@ gchin: Did not notice appreciable differences in suspension and I like the look of the wheels but could not tell any difference on the short, 30 min, test drive. The drive was on four lane, city-limits speeds, no fast maneuvering, so not a true "test drive". Have you seen differences?

@ TREX: One of my favorite groups by the way, Many years ago. Seller is Used Car dealer, specializing in German vehicles, so I think they can't certify CPO, if I understand correctly, only Mini Dealers can do that. I will get the remaining factory warranty, as I understand though. My current 2010 Justa came from the same dealer. Seems to be as reputable as any "USED CAR DEALER" in my area. That's a qualified "maybe"!
Can the car be certified another way, to your knowledge?
