Finally got my dream car lol. I'm not new to the forum, I had a r56 cooper S JCW Challenge, which I sold then got a M3, which I sold and went for the car I fell in love when I saw it for the first time as a concept. Why I didn't go for the coupe after selling my mini, i dont know, but good thing I reacted and went with the car which I have fun as a daily driver. The only option I got it with was the recaro seats inside. I can't wait to start the mods . Man feels so sporty and small compared to the E92 M3 I sold. I just have a few questions for you experts, will they void my warranty if I change my suspension? Also I read somewhere, where people were talking about upgrading the spoiler software because everytime I have put it up manually, it goes down after I go over the speed of 52+ and make a stop.

 

there is a dealer program upgrade, which they did on my coupe last month whilst i went to get an oil change..now when you raise the spoiler manually, it stays up regardless of your various speeds/ stopping.

I took into the dealer and they told me I had the most up to date software. They ask me which software or what issue you mention to your dealer for them to figure out what they updated on yours.

 

The last time I brought my car to the dealer I asked them about this update and they said there is none. I was kinda bummed about it..... :(

The update includes the wing staying up, but it also did some other things, i really dont know all that was updated. when i had my oil changed, they told me that they need to reprogram my software, and they needed the car for a few hours.....sorry i dont know the campaign number though.

 

Did you lose your custom coding when they did it?

 

Man lucky you. I hat it when the spoiler goes down everytime I slow down. I think it really sucks because when I start auto cross or tracking which I do alot. On the slow corners it going to go down which I'll lose down force in the back :(
