Hi,

I am now a proud owner of 2013 MINI Coupe S. Some of you may remember me from about a year ago when I purchased my 07 MCS and was extremely happy with it. Coming back from an R32 will be a very welcome relief at the pump and insurance. I also wasn't a fan of the DSG that was about as smooth as a donkey on crack. And the steering felt as numb as a buttock.

I compared both MCS and Coupe together and noticed that the Coupe is more neutral through the corners, while Cooper wants to understeer. Also, high center of gravity means that Cooper leans through the corners.

I'm getting close to 1000 miles. I promised not to drive this one a lot, but I also wanted to get over the 1200 mile break in as quickly as possible.

I will be replacing the oil, tranny, and diff fluids and filters at that time.

I already got it tinted, installed my KW Clubsports, got a clear bra put on, JCW wheel, brake, and gear shifter.
