Challenge Spoke Wheels

How in the hell do you clean these wheels? They look good but a PIA to clean. Anyone have a good method?

Until you go with aftermarket brake pads you're going to have to live with

them. I have the black wheels and I still clean them every day I drive the

car.

At auto parts stores, have you seen the tubular sponge-on-a-stick?
That's one of the best tools I've used for wide-hole multi-spoke wheels.

I don't know why people complain so much about brake dust and cleaning wheels?

I never have a problem with brake dust build-up but I do wash my car and wheels regularly.

I use this:

Thanks for all of the useful information. Soon I will replace the pads with EBC Red Stuff. These wheel brushes look great. Thanks again---

Good choice on the Red Stuff, you will like them One thing to be careful of, the EBC's have an aggressive break-in surface on them. That will let loose a lot of "material" as you bed them in. That "material" comes off the pads/disk very hot during break-in, so clean often during that time, as it bonds hard to alloy wheels...especially silver wheels. Hope this helps.

Agree with the comments. I have the blackout wheels and use a long brsitel brush to clean them. And they get cleaned every time I washt he car - 2 weeks and 2 washes so far
