Seat belt holder

Had the car a few days and finally figured out today it was much easier for me to reach down with my left hand and grab the seatbelt if the door was open. Shoulder surgery on my right shoulder years ago make it a little tough to reach over with my right hand. Last night I ordered part no. 52302213297 seat belt holder. The parts guy at the mini shop said they just come out and should have it by friday. I'll let you now how it works...

if they are anything like the oem ones I got about a year ago you wasted your money as they don't hold together and easily pop off. I paid $30+ for mine and they sit in the glove box now. good luck

I'll take some pics when they get here. I read the reviews of the others and asked if these were the same and he said they were not as some changes had been made. Hope so...

Added the Seatbelt holder today. Not sure what the other holders were like but I think these will work great...

A dab of epoxy on the quick-release hinge does wonders for keeping them from snapping apart at the lightest tug...

I used black electrical tape around the hinged area and it seems to be working so far.

Used for the first time today as they were installed last night. Regardless how hard I pull their solid. So far they do the trick. I looked at the hinge and it seems as if the only way to disconnect is if I push the seat part down and the belt part up. I tried to do it but with the force I was using it wasn't going to come apart. I decided to not mess with my thinking that if i get it apart it may come apart a lot easier the next time. I'm leaving it alone.

I had the same problem with separation at the hinge. Easy solution - drill a quarter inch hole on each side of hinge and secure with a black zip tie. Looks like it was original equipment and works well.

Fellas this is the best pic I can do right now. It's dark when I go to work, Dark when I get home. But you can see how it looks. So far not a problem..works great
