6.5 months, 13.9k miles, and about to get my first oil service on Saturday, just in time for the Dragon. To date, my only glitch has been the recurring case of the Sirius tuner getting stuck on "Hits 1" on occasion. But I really don't think that counts as "trouble."

Closing in on 4k miles. I don't have the wind noise that others have complained about, no rattles. Have had some quirky "your key isn't in the car" alerts, which makes no sense because I don't have Comfort Access, but I consider that sort of goofiness as standard. If it didn't do something weird once in a while, it wouldn't be a MINI

Getting a tire patched tomorrow - it apparently made best friends with a rather large bolt. However, that clearly doesn't qualify.

I, too, have had no rattles or unusual wind noise. I'm over 11,000 miles. So far my only issue was a dead battery which was replaced.

I was out of town for the last week on business. I haven't driven my car in a week. I can't wait to get in it tomorrow. It's not supposed to rain tomorrow so that is a bonus. I want to put miles on my car.

I haven't driven mine in a week either. For the past three weeks I have been using my 2004 Cooper as my daily driver. Still just over 11,000 miles.

Hah, I was able to copy this for my two month old JCW R58: Closing in on 4k miles.

Had a tire replaced at 1500 miles - it apparently made best friends debris in St Cloud. However, that clearly doesn't qualify.

I have never had the wind noise either.
What are the alerts that you are getting?

About to turn 17k miles, and I finally have a legitimate, if minor problem. The "1" button on the stereo controls no longer works. The 1/2 selector button always felt a little off compared to the others, and now the 1 side is useless.

Guess that's my last post in this thread. lol

Darn that's too bad . But your right sounds like a legitimate warranty issue. I'm sorry to hear about that.

But stop back on occasion so you can monitor the longevity of those that are still running trouble free.

6 months and 10,500 miles. No major issues just trim behind door rattles. Will get it fixed at first maintenance stop.

Had that happen several years back with a Scion xA. It was under warranty. Dealer swapped out the whole head unit because those rockers are basically unfixable.

Touch screen < rocker buttons < push buttons/*****

BTW, 3600+ miles, no problems. Planning a second SF to Vegas drive next month.

Almost to 10k now with no problems apart from rattles and the trunk latch noise I can silence with a little tape.

Plan to have the rattles looked at when she goes in for service.

I dropped off my kid with 6,4xx miles on it for rattle at cold start up last night. they just called, they replaced the chain tensioner. I thought they would have had that dialed since this is the last of this motor series.

Dealership said this was the first one they have seen for this model.

I've owned it for 4 months, put 2900 miles on it and then another 2100 doing several legs of MTTS, including the Dragon. Not a whisper of a problem.

Just racked up my first 1200 miles of driving joy, no complaints, rattles, wind noise or anything else.

9999 miles as of last Friday.

The bad news is my car got dinged. Passanger side rear by a careless driver. Damage is estimated at $2500.00 by one shop and $1650.00 by another. I'm not very pleased. It's in the shop now. Didn't break the light lens but caved the metal in on the bottom of the light and broke the black plastic out of the bumper.

The shop tells me I'll never know it happened once it is repaired. I hope not. I anticipate I'll get the car back the Monday or Tuesday.

Needless to say I'm a little bummed.

The good news is no mechanical problems at all. Still trouble free driving so I'm happy about that.
