Clunky Front Suspension
Noticed it more yesterday, maybe with the much colder temps we've been having.
Predominantly on the driver's side front. Most noticeable at lower speed, even on relatively small bumps, more frequent with L/R rocking than direct bumps.
Any common bushings that go out first? I've got about 120k on it, don't think it's struts.
Sounds a lot like how our old Saturns sounded when sway bar bushings were going bad/loose.

If it seems like it is coming from under the footwell I would suspect the sway bar and/or the lower control arm bushing. The LCA bushing is known to deteriorate over time on these and it is pretty easy to see on these. The sway bar busing, not so easy to tell by looking.

Simple answer is “yes”, they are pressed in.
And hard to get to. The proper way to change them is to drop the subframe. However, there are posts by people who have done these on the car. Do a search on NAM to see the effort to change these. As for pressing them out and in, I think I have seen everything from a formal hydraulic press to using a C-clamp. But again, take a look for what others have done. The other way is to buy the bushing and bracket pre-assembled.

A thought - While you are checking the end links, put a breaker bar wrench on each of the nuts and see if you can tighten them, even ever so slightly. I have had them torqued to spec and still had them make noise. Just a slight increase in torque was enough to quiet them. Worth a shot.

But, was talking with my dad Saturday [he had the car before me] & he mentioned that he had replaced the sway bar links at some point, after noticing the same clunk(s)
His thought was that it may be the strut mount(s).
Need to find the time to get under it, maybe get each corner in the air & push/tug around to see if anything seems loose.

If the end links are somewhat new, I would try tightening them before doing anything else. I have had “new” ones loosen ever so slightly and make noise.
Also, remember that when the car is in the air not everything will be loose if it is loose. The weight of the parts and force of springs can keep things tighter than what you might be able to move. Not saying you won’t find something loose, just that if you don’t find something loose doesn’t mean something isn’t loose. Ok, a bit of a mouthful, but I hope you get my meaning. It may also be worthwhile to put a wrench on various nuts and bolts to see if any are loose in addition to pushing and pulling on things.

We noticed this on my wife's '14 convertible S. Ended up discovering both the sway bar mount bushings AND the lower control arm bushings needed replacement. This at about 55k miles. Most of the clunking was under the sway bar mounts, but there was enough play in the left LCA bushings warrant replacement. It's generally a good idea to do both sides, and a subsequent alignment.
