I have searched, used vin decoders. Still trying to find out what engine i have and what i need to be looking for if issues start. 2009 RS57 with 87000 miles. Had plugs, water pump and thermostat replaced per carfax at 61k miles.

 

If it’s a 2009 R57 Cooper S, then you have an N14 engine
if it’s a 2009 R57 Cooper, then you have an N12 engine
