HELP Engine Rebuild!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HELP Engine Rebuild!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi MINI owners I am having a TAC error after I have resurfaced my cylinder head due to overheat warp and change the radiator pump and the thermostat housing with the thermostat, 2nd thing my radiator pump only turns when I turn the ignition on and the cars start and after like 10 seconds the radiator pump stops turning and overheat will occure. Please Guys advice me what to do?????? do I need to reprogram the car and all of this will be fixed or what???????????? the nearest mini workshop is like 400 miles away please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd start with replacement of your friction wheel.

Yeah check your friction wheel and friction gear. The friction gear could be jammed from rubber debris. There is no electronic component controlling the water pump, so the computer can't be at fault.
