Hi there! I'm new here. I've had my MINI since last year. It's a black 2009 Cooper S convertible (R57), and it's by far the most fun I've had driving! Anyhow, the antenna base broke (learned the hard way that car washes are a big no-no), and I got the part. I've looked everywhere for instructions, how-to guides, etc., but I've only found a diagram on outmotoring.com. It helps, but I guess I just want to know if someone has already done this (I'm pretty sure there's someone out there), as I don't want to damage anything. I guess I need to pop off the trim behind the upper plastic section, which includes sun visors, main (central) light, and rear view mirror. Any tips/pointers?

Thanks i have to do this on my r52 convertible also. Which is pretty much the same.
