What part is this?? Help!


I had to duct tape it on so it’ll stay. But the brackets or clips are clearly broken. Need new piece. What is it??

That's the noise maker. Some cars specially with N18 engines don't have it.

It runs back to the air pipe going to the throttle body. If you remove the whole thing, you'll have a major leak. You coul cat it or upgrade that whole concoction

Like MINI to be said its just s noise maker that reverberates sound from the intake into the cowl.

We actually remove them as you will find you get better throttle response and just a hair more power without it as it causes you to loose up to a half pound of boost to activate the diaphram in it.
We have a pipe that directly replaces the entire unit.
